Liam was selected from a range of candidates for the position of apprentice at Progress, starting here in September 2014. Liam was already a member of the gym – so I knew he had a good head on his shoulders! Liam studied an Extended Diploma in Business at Yeovil College and has been weight training since 2011.
Liam suffered a serious motocross accident early in 2014, sustaining significant damage to his hip and back. The recuperation from the injuries has given Liam a clear insight into the patience required to rehabilitate after a serious setback. The negative is being used to create a positive. I look forward to seeing Liam continuing to learn and grow as a Fitness professional and as an asset to Progress Gym.
Liam has now completed his Level II Fitness Instructor qualification and is marching toward the end of his Level III Personal Training qualification. He has also completed the Boxercise qualification and is now running our Thursday night Ladies Only Class.
Liam is now a fully qualified Personal Trainer and his apprenticeship is complete! Liam is personable, professional and already hitting multiple sessions per day.
If you’d like help, motivation and direction then Liam is available for one-to-one sessions, joint sessions and small group training. Liam also has Boxercise, Kettlebell, Suspension Training, Strength and Conditioning I & II, and Nutrition qualifications and an ever increasing knowledge base backed up with a passion for reading and learning.
