  1. What are your opening times?

    We’re open 7 days a week- check the opening times on the front page of the website.

  2. How old do you have to be to join Progress?

    16 years old, with parental consent, or 18 years old without.

  3. Can I just turn up and take a look around?

    Absolutely, there’s always a Team member here to show you what we’ve got and what we can do for you.

Memberships

  1. When can I join?

    You can join at any time; there is no ‘joining fee’ and no ‘admin fee’.

  2. Do I have to have a contract?

    NO! You can choose whether to pay by the day, week, fortnight, month or whatever suits you. You also have the flexibility to choose to pay for your membership by cash, card payment, cheque or direct debit.

  3. Do you have memberships for Juniors/Seniors/Couples/Off Peak/Corporate/Student members?

    We do! Check the website ‘Pricing’ page for more details.

  4. Will I need an welcome session before I start/How do I know what I’m doing?

    On the day you join we will arrange a welcome session for you. This will be carried out by one of our knowledgeable and qualified Team members. They will take you through a health check, a work out and answer your questions on training and nutrition. The welcome session will be within a week of you joining, but you’re more than welcome to use the gym from the moment you join.

On-going support

  1. If I need more help, will it be there?

    Progress is here for your benefit, so of course we take your results seriously. We know that for you to succeed you need information, guidance and inspiration.

  2. Can you help with information about what I should be eating to reach my goals?

    Progress has a team of dedicated professionals who are experienced and qualified to help answer your nutritional questions and put you on the right path to results!

  3. Are your team qualified?

    YES! The Team have a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications, ranging from Post-Graduate degrees through to Kettlebell instructor qualifications. There will always be someone qualified here- if you need help just ask! Questions regarding your program, technique and exercises are always welcome. If you’re learning, you’re improving and that’s our goal.

  4. Do you offer Personal Training?

    Personal Training sessions are available and are a highly-effective means of accelerating your progress and increasing your motivation and safety whilst training. Personal Training here at Progress, offers excellent value for money and can be chosen in addition to your membership

    We sure do. Class details are also on the website under the ‘Classes’ page

  2. Anything else?

    Yes! Off-road parking, lockers, individual changing and shower rooms and hot coffee are all included in all of our membership options!
